CREATINE MALATE – BENEFITS AND EFFECTS

Creatine malate is one of the most effective creatine forms for athletes who want to increase their strength, endurance and the level of muscle mass.

Creatine malate– what are the effects of its use?

The use of creatine malate greatly affects the efficiency and effectiveness of training. The malate itself participates in the Krebs cycle and allows the trainer to maintain a higher energy level than before. In training conditions, the level of ATP production is often not lower than the expenditure of this energy molecule.  Creatine malate allows for more efficient ATP resynthesis, which not only gives the possibility of imposing greater training stimuli, but also promotes regeneration.

Creatine malate – anabolic effect

Creatine malate is also characterized by a strong anabolic effect, which leads to the trained muscle volume enlargement, but also to physical strength increase. To a large extent, it is about improving the transport of ATP and the impact on specific enzyme factors. Creatine malate is a stable, well soluble in water form. In addition, it stimulates the secretion of a strongly anabolic hormone such as IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor). Creatine promotes the transport of ATP, while the transformation of adenosine- tri- phosphate results in the formation of GTP combining with specific proteins that activate enzymes. This, in turn, results in the production of cyclic nucleotides, such as cAMP. It is worth mentioning that nucleotides play the role of activators of kinases that perform key functions in the mechanism of anabolismprotein synthesis and regeneration of muscle fibres damaged by heavy training.

Creatine malate works quite well as a myostatin inhibitor, an extremely catabolic protein whose raised level significantly increases the degradation of muscle proteins. At the same time, the supplement creates conditions for other processes conducive to building good-quality muscle mass.

It is worth mentioning that creatine malate improves the resynthesis of the produced phosphocreatine (CP), which results in greater transport of phosphates from the mitochondria to the cytosol inside the cells. ATP, formed by our mitochondria while oxygen metabolism, is also better used during intensive anaerobic exercise with the application of an energy glycolytic mechanism.

Creatine malate works great on many levels giving a lot of positive effects to professional athletes and physically active people. These are:
